Browser compatibility
Play on a desktop browser with a keyboard and mouse. Touch controls are not available.
- Chrome, Edge and Firefox: leaderboard loading, switching between Solo and Co-op, and keyboard Refresh passed on October 3, 2026. Full gameplay checks across these browsers remain in progress.
- Safari: the leaderboard checks passed in WebKit, Safari's browser engine. A test on real Safari is still needed.
- Chromebooks: the leaderboard works at a 1366 × 768 viewport; Chromebook hardware performance is still unverified. Try Low graphics in Settings if play is slow.
- Mouse capture: click Play to grant it. If the browser refuses, wait a moment and click again. Escape releases the mouse.
Graphics acceleration
The game needs your graphics card. If the browser draws with the processor instead (graphics acceleration off, or a blocked graphics driver), Nacht runs at only a few frames per second.
Checking this browser…
Chrome or Edge: open Settings → System, turn on “Use graphics acceleration when available”, then Relaunch. Firefox: Settings → Performance → “Use hardware acceleration when available”, then restart.
These results cover the leaderboard. Launcher and full-game checks are tracked separately.
